Switzerland is very well connected by public transport. The trains and buses are very reliable. We strongly recommend you to buy the seven25 and/or the Half-Fare at the very beginning of your arrival. For your stay in Switzerland download the SBB app from the App Store or Google Play Store to organise your trips, especially to get access to the Supersaver Tickets. These tickets are often strongly reduced in price and can be purchased for certain routes only before the day of travel. You might find 1st class tickets cheaper than 2nd class to experience a fancy trip! However, they are bound to the exact train and hour you select.
